Citro Hacks is an all-inclusive online hackathon organized by Citro Tech, a student led organization dedicated to empowering minorities in the tech field. We want to provide a valuable experience for both beginners and advanced coders alike. We have plenty of swag, workshops, and games for attendees to enjoy at no cost. Join us to meet new friends, network with computer science professionals, and build something awesome!

While only high school students and recently graduated seniors can submit a project, all students regardless of age, gender, and location are welcome to attend the workshops!
All you need is a computer, an internet connection, and curiosity! It'd be helpful to have some food and a comfortable workspace too.
Citro Hacks is 100% Free! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are able to cover all costs for swag and shipping.
Absolutely not! Citro Hacks is designed to be beginner-friendly, and we will have plenty of introductory workshops and mentors available.
You may form a team with up to 4 members, but going solo is cool too! You can bring your friends as a team, or you can find team members at the event on our Discord server.
Nope! While we encourage you to attend as many workshops as possible, feel free to log off to work on your projects and take breaks.
Nope! While we encourage you to submit a hack for a chance to win our awesome prizes, you are welcome to just attend the workshops!
Yes! We have speakers, mentors, and judges applications open. Speakers may be high-school aged and up, but mentors and judges need to be college-aged and up.
